Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 July 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of TravelSearch.io ("TravelSearch", "we", "us" or "our"), including creator accounts, public storefronts and affiliate links. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Contact us at support@travelsearch.io. If you need our registered business name or postal address, please request it using that address.
2. Who may use TravelSearch
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. If you use TravelSearch for a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. What TravelSearch provides
TravelSearch lets creators curate and publish hotel recommendations and directs visitors to third-party booking providers. Unless we expressly say otherwise, TravelSearch is not a travel agent, hotel, tour operator or the supplier of accommodation. We do not enter into the accommodation booking contract, take the booking payment or control the hotel.
Prices, availability, descriptions, images and ratings may come from creators or third parties and can change. Check all important information on the booking provider's site before booking. The provider's terms, privacy notice, cancellation rules and payment arrangements apply to your booking. Contact that provider about booking changes, refunds, complaints or special requirements.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You may not transfer, sell or share your account in a way that compromises security or misrepresents who is using it.
5. Creator storefronts and content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, format, display and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, promote and improve TravelSearch. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for cached copies, lawful records and content already shared by others.
You confirm that your content:
- is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is not misleading;
- is yours or you have permission to use it;
- does not infringe privacy, intellectual-property or other rights;
- does not contain unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or harmful material; and
- does not make false claims about prices, availability, discounts, facilities, guarantees or booking outcomes.
We may remove or restrict content that reasonably appears to breach these terms or the law. We are not obliged to monitor all content and do not endorse every recommendation.
6. Affiliate links and creator commission
Storefronts may contain affiliate links. TravelSearch may receive a commission when a visitor completes an eligible booking, and the creator may receive a share. Affiliate disclosure must remain clear and visible. Creators must also make any disclosure required on social media or elsewhere when promoting a storefront.
Commission is based on bookings that the relevant affiliate provider successfully tracks, validates and pays. A click, reservation or estimated amount does not guarantee payment. Cancellations, refunds, fraud, tracking restrictions, provider rejection, currency conversion and attribution rules can reduce or eliminate commission. Dashboard figures may be estimates and provider records will be used to resolve attribution differences.
Before a creator's first payout, we may require identity, tax and payment details and may provide the applicable commission share, minimum threshold, timing and payment method in the account. We will not apply a materially less favourable change to commission already earned on an eligible booking. Creators are responsible for their own taxes and records.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law, infringe another person's rights or facilitate fraud;
- generate artificial clicks, visits or bookings, or manipulate attribution;
- use spam, deceptive marketing or unauthorised automated access;
- introduce malicious code or interfere with security or service operation;
- scrape, copy or resell the service except where law permits it; or
- pretend to be someone else or hide a commercial relationship.
8. Intellectual property
TravelSearch and its software, branding and original content belong to us or our licensors. Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. Third-party hotel names, images, marks and content belong to their respective owners.
9. Service changes and availability
We may update the service, add or remove features, or suspend it for maintenance, security or legal reasons. We will use reasonable care and give reasonable notice of a material change where practicable. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
10. Ending use or suspending an account
You may stop using TravelSearch at any time and may ask us to close your account. We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate security, fraud, legal or material breach concerns. We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach, or if we discontinue the service. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to appeal or retrieve your content.
Closing an account does not remove rights or obligations that arose beforehand. Validated commission earned before closure remains payable subject to these terms, unless it resulted from fraud, manipulation or another material breach.
11. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
If you use TravelSearch as a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for the acts, omissions or services of an independent hotel or booking provider. This does not affect any rights you have directly against that provider.
If you use TravelSearch wholly for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of £100 and the amount we paid you or you paid us in that period. These business limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Consumer rights
If you are a UK consumer, services we supply must be provided with reasonable care and skill and these terms do not reduce your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other mandatory law. If you pay us for a service, any applicable price, billing period, cancellation right and refund process will be shown before you order. Hotel booking and accommodation cancellation rights are governed by the booking provider's terms and applicable travel law.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for legal, security or service reasons. We will post the new terms here and, for a material change affecting registered users, give reasonable advance notice where practicable. Changes do not apply retrospectively. If you do not agree, you should stop using the service and close your account before the change takes effect.
15. General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a business reorganisation provided this does not reduce your rights. No person other than you and us has a right to enforce these terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home nation and may bring proceedings in the courts where you live. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Please contact support@travelsearch.io first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally.
